Paul & Laura McCarty

Senior Pastor & Wife

Paul and Laura McCarty have been in ministry since the 1970s. Paul accepted Christ at age 17 and soon felt called to ministry. After graduating from Bible College, where he and Laura met, they were called as missionaries to Alaska, where Paul served as a pastor. Laura, the daughter of a missionary pastor, later pursued further education in child education and administration. After completing her training, she served as a church school principal, ministering to young people. Around the same time, God led Paul into street ministry, serving as a pastor to the homeless. In 2015, Paul accepted the call to pastor Riverside Bible Church. Together, they are thankful for the opportunity to serve and share the Good News of salvation in this community.

Ian & Susan Whitlock

Associate Pastor & Wife

While in college and planning a career in law, Ian felt called to the ministry. In 2018, while serving as a minister in the denomination in which he was raised, the Lord led him to the painful realization that his denomination did not fully embrace the truth and gospel as taught in Scripture. Consequently, he separated from that denomination and, after a time, enrolled in and graduated from a fundamentalist, non-denominational Bible college with a Bachelor of Ministry degree.

Susan grew up ministering in various capacities at the

church her parents planted after returning as missionaries from Africa.

Ian and Susan are excited to serve under the experienced leadership of the McCartys and to minister in giving the everlasting gospel to a dying world.
